Yes. All SmartNet plugins are tested against the latest stable WordPress release before any update ships. We typically release compatibility updates within 48 hours of a new WordPress version, and within 24 hours for security releases.

We do not currently offer a free trial, but we do offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all purchases. This effectively gives you 14 days to evaluate the plugin risk-free. If you are not satisfied for any reason, contact our support team within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.
We also have extensive video tutorials and documentation you can review before purchasing.
Updates are delivered directly through the WordPress admin dashboard — exactly like any theme or plugin from WordPress.org. You will see update notifications under Dashboard → Updates or Plugins → Installed Plugins when a new version is available.
You also receive email notifications when a new version is released (opt-in via your dashboard notification settings).
No. SmartNet plugins are premium products sold exclusively through smartnetconsultancy.com. They are not listed on the WordPress.org plugin directory. Always purchase directly from our official website to ensure you receive a genuine, licensed copy with full support and update access.
Yes. All SmartNet plugins are tested for compatibility with Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, Bricks Builder, Oxygen, and the WordPress native block editor (Gutenberg). Smart Leads Pro includes a dedicated Elementor widget and Gutenberg block for embedding forms.
Yes, we have an affiliate program offering commission on referred sales. Contact sales@smartnetconsultancy.com for details and to apply. For agencies that want to resell SmartNet licenses to clients, our Agency plan covers unlimited client sites under a single license.
Yes, depending on your license plan:
- Starter ($29/year) — one website
- Professional ($79/year) — up to 10 websites
- Agency ($199/year) — unlimited websites
Each domain you activate counts as one license slot. Subdomains of the same root domain count as separate activations.
When your annual license expires:
- The plugin continues to work exactly as before — it does not deactivate or lose functionality.
- You stop receiving automatic plugin updates.
- You lose access to our support ticket system for that plugin.
To restore updates and support, simply renew your license from your client dashboard.
Yes. To move a license to a new domain: go to the plugin's License tab in WordPress admin on the old site and click Deactivate License. Then go to the new site, navigate to the same License tab, and activate using your license key. The activation slot is freed immediately upon deactivation.
No. SmartNet licenses do not auto-renew by default. We send a renewal reminder email 30 days and 7 days before expiration. You can choose to renew at any time from your dashboard. If you prefer auto-renewal for convenience, you can opt-in to it in your account settings.
Yes. Contact our billing team at billing@smartnetconsultancy.com to arrange a prorated upgrade. You will only pay the difference between your current plan and the new plan for the remaining months of your license period.
Yes. The Agency plan is specifically designed for this use case. You can activate the plugin on client sites you build and transfer. The license is in your name and covers unlimited sites regardless of who owns them. If your client needs ongoing access to updates and support independently, they would need their own license.
Yes. Staging and development environments (localhost, .local, .staging., .dev. domains) do not consume a license activation slot. The plugin detects non-production environments automatically and activates in development mode without counting against your license limit.
Yes. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all new plugin purchases. If you are not satisfied for any reason within 14 days of purchase, contact us at support@smartnetconsultancy.com with your order number and we will process a full refund — no questions asked.

Yes. A PDF invoice is automatically emailed to you immediately after purchase and is also available for download in your client dashboard under My Account → Purchase History. If you need a VAT invoice or a custom invoice format for your business, contact billing@smartnetconsultancy.com.
Prices displayed are exclusive of tax. Applicable sales tax (US), VAT (EU), GST (Australia), or other local taxes are calculated and displayed at checkout based on your billing address and jurisdiction. Business customers in the EU can provide their VAT registration number at checkout to receive a zero-rated invoice.
Once your refund request is approved (typically within 1 business day), the refund is processed to your original payment method. Credit and debit card refunds take 3–5 business days to appear. PayPal refunds typically appear within 1–3 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated.

Minimum requirements: WordPress 5.8+, PHP 7.4+, MySQL 5.6+ or MariaDB 10.1+, 128 MB PHP memory limit. We recommend PHP 8.1 or 8.2, WordPress 6.4+, and 256 MB memory for optimal performance. See the full system requirements table.
Yes. All SmartNet plugins are fully compatible with PHP 7.4, 8.0, 8.1, and 8.2. PHP 8.3 compatibility is currently being tested and will be confirmed with a patch release. We strongly recommend running PHP 8.1 or newer for performance and security benefits.
Yes. All SmartNet plugins support WordPress Multisite. You can network-activate a plugin (making it available to all subsites) or activate it per-site. Network-activated plugins consume one license slot (the main domain). Per-site activation counts each subsite as a separate activation. See the Multisite Setup Guide for details.
Yes. Every plugin comes with developer documentation covering PHP hooks (actions and filters), REST API endpoints, shortcodes, and JavaScript events. All documentation is available in the User Manuals section under the Shortcodes & Developer API tab for each plugin.
Your license key is emailed immediately upon purchase completion to the email address used at checkout. It is also permanently available in your SmartNet Client Dashboard under My Licenses. If you cannot find the email, check your spam folder or log in to the dashboard.
Yes. All SmartNet plugins are designed to coexist without conflict. They share a common framework library (loaded once) so running multiple plugins does not multiply overhead. We regularly test all plugin combinations together as part of our QA process.
Plugin data (settings, leads, logs, etc.) is stored in your WordPress database on your own server. The only outbound connections SmartNet plugins make are: (1) license validation requests to api.smartnetconsultancy.com when activating a license or checking for updates, and (2) integration API calls to third-party services you explicitly connect (e.g. Mailchimp, HubSpot). We do not collect analytics or usage data from your site.
Yes. All SmartNet plugins are tested with the latest version of WooCommerce. Smart Cache Pro automatically detects WooCommerce and excludes cart, checkout, and my-account pages from full-page caching. Smart WooCommerce Booster requires WooCommerce as a prerequisite.
SmartNet plugins are built to WordPress coding standards and conflict-tested against the most popular plugins (Yoast SEO, Rank Math, WPML, ACF, Gravity Forms, CF7, Jetpack, etc.). Known incompatibilities: Smart Cache Pro should not be run alongside other caching plugins (W3 Total Cache, WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache). See our Conflict Troubleshooting Guide for more.
Yes, with some notes. SmartNet plugins are compatible with WP Engine, Kinsta, Flywheel, Cloudways, SiteGround, Bluehost, and most other managed hosts. Some managed hosts have their own built-in caching — if you are using WP Engine or Kinsta, configure Smart Cache Pro to disable page caching (since the host handles it) and use only the image optimization and minification features.
Yes. All SmartNet plugin admin interfaces include RTL stylesheets for Arabic, Hebrew, and other RTL languages. The RTL styles are automatically loaded when WordPress detects an RTL language setting.
Yes. All SmartNet plugins use the standard WordPress internationalization (i18n) framework with .pot translation files included in the plugin package. They are compatible with WPML, Polylang, and TranslatePress for multilingual sites.
Yes. SmartNet plugins are fully compatible with the WordPress Full Site Editor and block themes (Twenty Twenty-Four, Kadence, GeneratePress, etc.). Smart Leads Pro includes a Gutenberg block for embedding forms. Smart Cache Pro correctly handles cached versions of FSE-generated templates.
Standard support (Starter plan) responds within 1 business day. Priority support (Professional and Agency plans) targets a response within 4–8 business hours. Support is staffed Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM EST. Tickets submitted on weekends or holidays are responded to on the next business day.
Support covers: installation and activation help, plugin-specific configuration questions, bug reports, license and billing inquiries, and compatibility issues related to our plugins.
Support does not cover: general WordPress questions unrelated to our plugins, custom development requests, issues caused by third-party plugin or theme conflicts outside our control, or sites running unsupported PHP/WordPress versions.

Yes. Privacy and data compliance are central to how our plugins are built. Smart Leads Pro includes GDPR-compliant double opt-in, consent checkboxes, and stores consent timestamps for audit purposes. All plugins include WordPress's native Personal Data Exporter and Eraser integration so user data can be exported or deleted on request from the WP admin.

We take security seriously. We have a responsible disclosure policy — security researchers can report vulnerabilities to security@smartnetconsultancy.com. We target a patch release within 48 hours of a confirmed vulnerability and notify all customers via email. Critical security patches are always free, including for expired licenses.
Yes. All payments are processed by PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment processors (Stripe and PayPal). SmartNet Consultancy never stores your full credit card number, CVV, or payment credentials on our servers. All checkout pages use HTTPS/TLS encryption.
To request deletion of your SmartNet Consultancy account and associated personal data, email privacy@smartnetconsultancy.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion by email. Note that some data may be retained as required by law (e.g. purchase records for tax purposes).
